On the 8th of June around 9:26, I picked my phone up after just a couple of rings. A lady on the other end said she was calling about whether I qualified for assistance with a new boiler. I asked where she got my info from, and she said it was from her database. I told her I’m registered with the telephone preference service, so I shouldn’t be getting these calls. She replied that I’d need to renew that registration regularly. I corrected her, saying I’ve been on the list ever since it was called the BT preference line. Then she said she’d delete my details from her system. When I tried ringing the number back, it said there was a fault! Don’t trust it! - caller was boiler sales.

I’ve had this annoying boiler scrap caller from Glasgow bug me nonstop for five months. Then, I put up a post pointing out that they’re blaming the wrong company. Got a phone call from a bloke claiming he was from some "technical support team" over in India, saying there was an issue with my computer - which I don’t even have! I told him straight I’m no mug and warned him not to ring me back or I’d report the scam to the cops. No joke, right after I hung up, a call came through from 01698313017. If I see any reviews like these, I block the call from coming through completely. So far, nobody’s left me any voicemail, but even if they do, I just ignore it.
