Today at about 5:15pm I got a call from a bloke who sounded like he might've had an Indian accent. He was telling me I could get a review on my life insurance premiums to bring them down. I told him that’s not how these things work in the UK, and if he was really offering that, he’d have to know which company my policy was with first. He got all muddled after I kept questioning him, so I ended up hanging up on him.

Got a call from a woman who didn’t speak much English but knew my name and said my life insurance needed checking. The person on the phone said they had my first name and claimed to be from some insurance review place about my life insurance policy. I asked if they were with my current insurer or just trying to pitch me something new, but as soon as they couldn’t say who I was insured through, I ended the call.

Got a call from someone called Bradley, claiming to be from the Reliance & Validation Department, asking about my life insurance and when I last checked it. Oddly, he already knew my name before I said anything, but then he tried to 'verify' my personal info. I refused to share anything else and just told him I don’t deal with unexpected calls like that. He ended the call straight away after I said that.

Had a call from this number on 21st February 2022, but as I didn’t recognise it, I chose not to pick up. They didn’t bother to leave a message, which is quite telling. Noticed there’s some negative feedback associated with it, so I’ll definitely be blocking them. It’s a shame these dullards don’t have more constructive ways to spend their time instead of pestering others. If you're going to ring someone, at least drop a message - it’s hardly rocket science! If you fail to do so, don’t be surprised when you’re blocked and tagged as spam.

Got a call from a lady speaking English with an accent that wasn’t local. When I answered, there was silence for a bit then the line hung up. I dialled back straight away. She claimed it was about reviewing my life insurance. I had a bad feeling about it right away and told her I had no clue who she was and certainly never gave out my number for this. I cut her off and blocked the number without hesitation!
