I received a call from this number earlier today, but as soon as I answered, the line went completely silent.

I received a call from someone purporting to be from an insurance review team, wanting to go over my life insurance policy. I found it rather suspicious, so I ended the call.

I got a call at 10.33am and the person said Good afternoon, which seemed off as it’s morning here - probably someone calling from another country. They asked if I had life insurance, I said no and I’m not interested. They then asked why not, so I asked why exactly would I need it? They said because life’s too short. I asked if he had life insurance himself and he said no. I told him maybe one of his coworkers could call him during a busy time and try to sell him a policy. Then suddenly he swore and ended the call.
