Like I mentioned before, this call was defo a scam - they claimed to be from a firm that compares life insurance. I told them I wasn’t interested as once I’m gone I don’t give a damn. They asked me “Don’t you wanna leave something for your family or cover your funeral costs?” I shot back, “What family? And I’m dead, so I don’t care.” Then they just hung up on me.

Got a call from a lady with an accent I couldn’t place, she started off by calling me just by my first name and asked if I'd looked over my life insurance. I asked her what policy she meant, and she just said I had one and how could I not know about it? I told her she hadn’t asked any security stuff and to stop bothering me, told her to get lost basically, and then I ended the call. DO NOT ANSWER THIS NUMBER, IT’S DEFINITELY A SCAM.

They claimed to be from some insurance renewal firm and mentioned Aviva. I told the bloke that my number wasn’t listed with any companies, so I reckoned it was a scam. He honestly got annoyed and tried to blame me for doubting him. I asked where he got my number from, and he said some database. When I asked him to take me off it, he said he couldn’t because he didn’t know the source! To me, that just screamed scam or phishing.
