I received a call from this number. It seems a chap attempted to contact Jon, claiming he was promoting advertising slots in a magazine purportedly to support children's charities. Quite despicable, really, as it struck me as nothing more than a scam using this particular number.

What a right swindle! So, this character Tom Shepherd claimed to be affiliated with the local police department and started asking when we might want to feature our business in some community magazine. When we eventually agreed, they wanted a whopping £145! Turns out, the magazine appears to be a total fabrication. We did our homework and confirmed it’s all a scam. Thankfully, we hadn’t handed over any cash yet. But blimey, these crooks just won’t take a hint; she’s bombarded us with messages and has rung us from various different numbers. It’s quite alarming, really!
