Indeed, that was Vardis. The company was deceiving individuals, pocketing cash for advertisements that were nowhere to be found. These scoundrels need to be dealt with.

Are you certain that this is indeed a scam? Back in early November 2010, the Vision Group approached us, aiming to feature a business advertisement for the Foresters Fund for Children in their magazine. We ended up forking out over £170 for the ad, and they sent us a publication with our advertisement included. It appeared quite impressive, and they even reached out with a courtesy phone call last month to express their gratitude, boasting that the magazine has managed to raise over £100,000. How can we go about verifying whether this is all a ruse or if there's any legitimacy to it?

Has anyone else received calls from this number? They keep relaying information but never bother to identify themselves. Quite odd, if you ask me!

Utterly fraudulent! They're now masquerading under the name Vision. These aren’t legitimate debt collectors; it's simply a bunch of shifty individuals trying to squeeze money out of people. Trading Standards have made it clear: do not part with a single penny!

Are you positive this is a fraud? The Vision Group reached out to us back in early November 2010, requesting we place a business advertisement in their magazine for the Foresters Fund for Children. We've forked out more than £170 for the advert, and they even sent us a copy of the magazine featuring our ad, which looked rather impressive. Additionally, these folks gave us a courtesy call last month to express their gratitude and mentioned that the magazine has managed to raise over £100,000. What steps can we take to ascertain whether this is on the level or if we've been taken for a ride?

Vardis is definitely a con, without a doubt! I've received a handful of these letters from 'Crown Debt Recovery', yet absolutely nothing has materialised. This has been dragging on since around mid-2009, so my advice is to just brush them off! They don’t even have a proper address, only a PO box and an 0871 number-talk about raising a red flag! Quite clearly, they’ve got something to conceal, don’t you think? Complete and utter scammers, that's for sure!
