Got a call from a guy with a thick Indian accent, speaking super quick, claiming he was from BT's accounts team. He said I owed money and that my phone would be disconnected if I didn’t pay right away. When I asked for my account number to check, he refused to give it. I explained that my BT bill is paid automatically by direct debit, and he proceeded to swear before hanging up on me.
