Got a call from this number and it was literally the exact voice and way of talking as the first comment mentioned. Sounded so genuine but felt dodgy afterwards. Thought I was talking to someone familiar but now I’m not so sure. Strange how the accent and words match perfectly, really threw me off guard. Wouldn’t trust it at all.

Got a call saying my broadband from BT was going to be cut off today. I just ended the call straight away since I'm not even with BT.

Received a call purporting to be from BT, warning me that my internet would be cut off today. Bit odd, really, considering I don’t even have an account with them!

Got a call claiming to be from BT, but the voice was all robotic and awful. They said my landline in California was in trouble and might get disconnected. They also gave me some numbers to press if I wanted to know more. Really dodgy sounding.
