Got a call on our landline from someone claiming to be BT. My wife picked up and they said they were talking about broadband connected to my husband d####. They ended the call before I could even say anything (party pooper)! Landline annoyances.

Got a call from someone with an American or Canadian accent claiming our landline would be cut off starting tomorrow. They said they worked for BT, but we don’t have BT as our service provider. Thankfully, my elderly mother-in-law answered the phone - she lives with us - and she was suspicious and warned me it was probably a scam. Glad she didn’t fall for it!

somebody with a canadian or american sounding accent rang me claiming to be from BT saying my internet was about to be cut off because it was being hacked from california or something. sounded very robotic so i just ended the call straight away. later i dialled 1471 to see the number that called me.
