Received a rather unsolicited call on my mobile on the 24th of September 2015, from someone claiming to be representing Aviva Insurance. They were inquiring about a supposed car accident that supposedly took place two and a half years prior. The troubling thing is, no such incident ever occurred, and my insurance company is fully aware of that fact! Isn’t this sort of call against the law? I've registered with the Telephone Preference Service for both my home and mobile, so this feels particularly intrusive!
