I gave them a ring and it turned out to be some solar panel sales. When I mentioned they were calling numbers on the TPS list, the lady on the other end got quite annoyed.

Got a call from some bloke, left a message on my ansaphone. Was just pure rubbish, swearing all over the place. Clearly not someone you'd want to chat with.

Definitely a scam, the call felt dodgy from the start.

They were pushy, reading straight off some script about a medical pendant and didn’t want to actually have a proper chat. Totally unhelpful.

Looks like a dodgy medical scam to me. Wouldn't trust that call one bit.

A bloke rang claiming he was from some health service. He said he already knew my age and all my health issues, then went on about this free trial for a health alarm that would last three months, including free delivery. When I asked how he got my private info, he tried to just keep talking over me with his sales spiel. But I kept insisting on an answer and then he just cut me off. Quite cheeky if you ask me.

Some bloke with a posh accent kept talking about medical alert pendants and didn't even let me get a word in. Not convinced it was someone genuine, pretty sure it was just another scam!

He kept asking if I could hear him okay. When I replied, I wanted to know where he was calling me from. Then he said his name was "Sam" and that he worked in local healthcare. I tried asking him my name a few times, but he just stuck to his script and never answered. In the end, I just ended the call.

Got a call round 11:45, which I reckon is usually scammers doing their thing. Picked up and there was nothing - just silence on the other end before they hung up. Typical scam move, if you ask me!

Received a call around 12:18 earlier today. A person named Sam, who claimed to be some kind of health worker in our neighbourhood, said we were at risk and qualified for a FREE security pendant. Sounds good, right? But there’s a catch - a daily monitoring charge of £1.80. I was stuck chatting with them for nearly 7 mins. It turns out it’s just an automated voice. Whether it’s a legit cold-calling robot or not, it feels really dodgy and probably a scam. Best steer clear.

Some bloke called Sam rang me, claimed he was from health care. He kept going on about a Medic Alert button that’d cost me £1.95 a day. I told him I’d just get one through my GP instead, and then he just hung up on me.

Received a call from someone named 'Sam' - sounds like a robot to me, since when I told them firmly I wasn’t interested in a medical pendant, they just kept cutting me off. Probably just one of those annoying sales calls, but it worries me because they’re clearly after personal info and seem to be focusing on older folks. Bit of a worrying scam if you ask me.

Got a call from 01686639433 and this chatbot thing called "Sam" asked if I could hear him right away - that was a massive red flag. I replied "I can" (never say "yes" apparently), and next he claimed to be some health worker from my local area. He said his records showed I had some health problems and that I was eligible for a medical alert pendant. I tried to cut him off with a "goodbye scammer" but he just kept on talking, like it wasn’t even a real person responding. Blocked the number straight away.

I got one of these Emergency Pendant scam calls recently. The bloke on the phone was using a soundboard, and he had a proper British accent. He kept asking the same set of questions like they were scripted. When he asked for my postcode, I decided to ask which company he was calling for. Instead of answering, he just ignored me and asked for my postcode again. After I kept pushing for the company name, he just ended the call. Totally dodgy.

I got a call from someone named Sam, asked if I could hear him fine, which I did. He then mentioned he was some kind of health worker nearby. He kinda hinted if I had health issues, if I'd prefer being alone. Right there, I just said... whatever you’re offering, I’m not interested, then ended the call. I've blocked that number now.

Got a call like this today, the guy never even told me his name, just asked if I could hear him okay. He went through the usual nonsense that others have mentioned here, but I told him everything he said was wrong. He kept talking over me the whole time, so I just hung up. Later I looked up the number and yep, it’s definitely a scam. Fingers crossed they can’t add anything dodgy to my phone bill (if that’s even possible).

Someone called claiming to be a healthcare worker from nearby, saying they had a list which included us and we could get a medical alert pendant since we were supposedly over 70. I told him straight away we're not that old and my mum already has one through the proper service, so I’m quite familiar with how it all works. I even asked twice where they got the list from, but he wouldn’t answer and just kept rambling nonsense. I hung up on him. Honestly, these scammers need to stop bothering folks and find some honest employment.

They've called our house three times already, twice last week and again today. They claimed the covid vaccination rollout has been handed over to private companies by the NHS. According to them, they got my info from the NHS but said I had to book and pay for my next jab because of a second wave coming. I told them there was no way I was paying since I’m fully vaccinated, and I demanded they delete all my info from their records and never ring me again. After that, I just ended the call.

Got a call from some bloke named "Sam," who claimed to be a health consultant around my area. When I asked what he wanted, he just repeated his job title, like he forgot what he was supposed to say next. I pressed him why he was ringing, and he said he had info about me having some health problems - didn’t specify any - and that I needed some kind of “alert health pen.” I told him I didn’t know who he really was, wasn’t interested in buying any device, didn’t buy his story, and told him to stop calling before hanging up. Pretty clear scam. Blocked the number straight away.

This afternoon around half past twelve, I got a call from 01686639433. It was a young bloke with a typical English accent. At first, he was silent, then asked twice if I could hear him, sounding like he was checking something. I asked who was calling, but the line suddenly went dead as if busy, and the call ended. The same number has rung a couple of times before, and it’s definitely the same guy. I didn’t bother calling back.

Like loads of others have said, I got a call from a bloke claiming his name was Sam and that he worked in healthcare nearby, here in Salisbury. When I threw in a question that was a bit out of the ordinary, there was an awkwardly long silence before he replied. Felt like it was some kind of AI or automated voice. Received a call from some bloke claiming to be a Health Worker local to me. He was going on about how I could get a free care alarm because apparently I might need it in case of an emergency like a fall. I told him honestly I don't see the point, don’t think I need one at all, and he just said “it’s up to you”, said goodbye and ended the call. Bit strange if you ask me!

Got a phone call from someone claiming to be a healthcare worker nearby. When I asked what the call was regarding, he said I qualified for a free Medicare tag to help get help quick if I had a fall or health issue. I've had calls from someone named "Sam" more than once now, but every time it’s a different phone number. He claims to have info about my medical records, which is totally nonsense. I got the same call from someone called Sam, seems there are loads of health workers around here with that name! The caller was pushing emergency alert alarms for people with medical issues. When I answered, they didn’t really react to what I said, so I reckon it was an automated call (maybe they didn’t like my rude language 😄). It felt quite cruel, trying to scare vulnerable folks about being left alone in emergencies. Honestly, whoever’s behind this scam, probably not a genuine 'Sam', deserves worse for messing with people’s fears like that.
