This morning at 9 a.m., I received a call which started off silent, but slowly I could hear the buzz of a call centre in the background. A lady introduced herself as Annie, speaking with an Asian accent. She proceeded to ask how I was and informed me about an issue with my BT line. Politely, I informed her that we do not have a BT line and promptly ended the call. These unwanted phone calls can be both intrusive and distressing. It baffles me how they continue to operate under the same number despite numerous complaints.

I got a call from this number earlier today and it wasn’t the first time either. I let them talk for a bit just so I could tell them exactly what I thought of their nasty little scam! I mean, who in their right mind would let someone type commands on their computer? Definitely reported this number to the police as well.

I got a call from someone claiming to be a BT tech saying my broadband was hacked by some foreign IP address. I just ended the call straight away. Then they rang me back from this number, though they already called me earlier from 02307865647. Honestly, these calls are so repetitive now - I’ve blocked like 50 different numbers from these scammers!

I got a call from someone claiming to be with BT, saying my internet was at risk and I needed to follow their steps or it would get cut off. I ended up hanging up, but they kept bothering me for nearly an hour. They rang again today but I just hung up straight away. This is definitely a scam.

I received a call from someone with a Babu accent, who claimed to be from BT. He insisted that there were issues with my internet connection. I informed him that I would call him back when I had the time, but he gave me a fake number. Now, I have my referee's whistle next to the phone, just in case he calls again. If he does, I will give him a stern warning. I really hope he's wearing a headset because removing them takes extra effort and might be quite uncomfortable for him.

Earlier today, at precisely 12.25 PM on 28 October 2017, I received a call from an unidentified number. Astonishingly, the person on the other end remained completely silent throughout our interaction. I am unequivocally convinced that this constitutes criminal behavior. It is incredibly disheartening to observe the lack of initiative displayed by law enforcement authorities in addressing these bothersome and potentially hazardous calls. I would strongly advise individuals to exercise caution and refrain from answering such calls. Attempting to callback the number is also ill-advised. Together, let us implore Parliament, as well as our esteemed Telephone and Police Services, to intensify their efforts in putting an end to these infuriating calls and discouraging the fraudulent schemes targeting innocent members of the public. I received two calls on 27th November 2017 from this number. The first call was at 11:54, followed by another at 15:52. The callers had an Indian accent and claimed that there were issues with my BT line, along with warning signs. They insisted that I turn on my computer so they could resolve the problem. I made it clear that I do not have a BT line and asked them not to call me again. Unfortunately, I received a second call in the afternoon despite my earlier request.
