I answered the phone and stayed quiet for a bit. After a moment, a woman’s recorded voice said there was an income tax issue linked to me, asking me to press a certain key. I hung up straight away. Felt like a classic trick to hack my computer and pinch my money! The call was tracked back to Merthyr Tydfil, but the accent sounded like it was coming from somewhere in the Caribbean or the US!
