She said she was calling about a car claim and that she already had my info from another firm. No legit company would pass around personal details like that, so I’m pretty sure it’s a scam.GT Group6 monthsI pick up the call and there’s just silence on the other end.6 monthsOver the past three days, I've had loads of calls coming through, but the last three digits keep switching, so I ended up blocking the numbers.6 months08 Dec 2025, 4.11pm. Got a call from an unknown number in the West Midlands. The lady said she was Gabby, calling about energy advice. Asked if I owned the property and mentioned a survey about damp and some government grant for fibreglass insulation. Sounded a bit like those other 'local energy advisor' calls I’ve had before. The voice seemed kinda human but there were awkward pauses and the answers didn’t flow right - felt like it was a pre-recorded script with some robotised voice stuff. Bit fishy if you ask me, maybe a spam or scam call?West MidlandsGabbySubmit Your Own Report (01676 350168)
