They wanted to speak to Mr X, so I asked which one specifically. When they asked for the first name I told them that person wasn’t here. The weirdest thing was when they then asked if I was Mr X’s brother. How on earth do they know that? We’ve never filled out any “consumer surveys” or anything giving that kind of info. Seriously, just don’t bother with these calls! Also, that comment about them trying to get you to confirm your identity just so they can use an audio clip of you agreeing to stuff - absolutely shocking. Really appreciate the heads up!

A guy with an Asian accent called, and it was really hard to catch what he was saying. He claimed their files showed I’d been in some kind of accident where I was supposedly "completely not at fault". I pretended to go along with it until he saw through me and then he just dropped the call.
