Rang me eight times yesterday! I didn’t pick up and subsequently blocked the number. Today, I've already received three calls from 01668333015, which I’ve also added to my block list. When you attempt to call them back, it turns out the numbers are inactive. What a nuisance!

This number kept ringing my home repeatedly, so I finally picked up to find out what it was about. A lady with an accent I couldn't place asked if I was Mrs ? When I asked who she was, she said she was with the telephone preference service, something to do with call blocking. I didn't give her any personal info. She was actually asking for my daughter, who’s never been responsible for any bills. It worries me that they say they’re from the TPS because people might trust them and get scammed.

What a ridiculous scam! An Asian-sounding chap claimed to represent the Telephone Preference Service. He had my name, my postcode, and somehow figured out that my phone bill’s settled by direct debit. He was on about stopping all those nuisance calls and wanted me to have my credit card at the ready. That’s when I firmly said, "No, cheers" and hung up. It’s rather unsettling how much he seemed to know about me, honestly.

I received a phone call from an Asian gentleman claiming that my "call blocking" had run out. He proceeded to confirm my address and postcode, which really unnerved me, then he inquired about my direct debit card. At that moment, I decided to hang up. To my surprise, the very same number rang me again about half an hour later, but I chose to ignore it. I'm quite unsettled that he had access to my address information.
