This number 01668333015 has been ringing me loads today, about 3 times already. I ignored them yesterday too, they called like 8 times, so I blocked the first one, then had to block this one as well. Tried calling back and it's just dead, not in use or something. Proper annoyance, honestly.

The person on the line tried to get me to verify the digits at the bottom of my bank card - basically my sort code! I just had a laugh and told them to jog on since I wasn’t daft, then hung up. When I asked who she was, she said she was with the telephone preference service, something to do with call blocking. I didn't give her any personal info. She was actually asking for my daughter, who’s never been responsible for any bills. It worries me that they say they’re from the TPS because people might trust them and get scammed.

They asked for my "TPS reference number," describing it like "two numbers dash two numbers dash two numbers," which sounded like they were after my bank sort code. Absolute rip-off. Got a call from a guy with an Asian accent claiming he was from the Telephone Preference Service. He knew my name and postcode, even guessed I pay my phone bill with direct debit. He started saying he’d stop all junk calls and asked me to get my credit card ready. That’s when I said “No way” and hung up. What really freaked me out was how much he already knew about me.
