After loads of messing about, he tried to get me to confirm the sort code and bank account number from my card. Told him to jog on. This kind of thing really needs to be cracked down on.

My Dad got a call yesterday from someone saying they were with BT, and they already knew loads about him, even his age. They asked him for his bank sort code and account number, and he gave it. This morning, his bank got a bit worried and called us frantically, but luckily nothing bad happened.

They tried claiming they were TPS, but it was obvious that was a lie. I just ended the call straight away. We’ve got BT call protect set up at home, it’s free and handy. You simply ring 1572, add the number to your blacklist, and that’s it - they won't be able to ring you again.

Got a call from some Indians claiming they were from TPS, total scam! Told them to jog on, these pests just want your money!

So this number kept ringing me all last week. When I finally answered around 11, a bloke asked if I was still getting spam calls even though I’m signed up with TPS. I wanted to know what was going on, so I asked him why he was calling me. He then said something about a half price deal and just ended the call. Odd behaviour, and quite annoying!

Got a call from a guy who sounded Asian. He actually used my name, but messed up saying it even though it’s pretty normal. Claimed he worked for TPS, but I’ve gotten calls like this from scammers before. I told him he wasn’t with TPS and then ended the call. Afterwards, I blocked the number straight away.
