Got three calls from someone pretending to be Microsoft, telling me my home PC was under threat from suspicious activity. I cut the first call short as it smelt like a con straight away. No sooner had I done that, the same bloke phoned back asking why I’d ended the call. I just hung up again. Then another person called and left a message on my voicemail, insisting I had to call them back. Pretty sure Microsoft don’t have a branch in Basingstoke though.
