6 yearsI received a call purporting to be from Amazon, with the caller insisting that in order to cancel my subscription, I needed to provide my account information via a Google-specific site, which I found rather odd. Sensing something fishy, I requested that they send me an email to verify their identity before I engaged further. To my surprise, the person on the other end pushed for an immediate response and assured me that they would follow up with an email posthaste.
