There's this robocall that keeps buzzing me every few days, probably about every four. When I pick up and stay quiet, it plays an automated message, but if I say something, it actually connects me to someone. The caller tried to fish for my personal stuff but was oddly secretive about themselves - she wouldn't even joke about what knickers she had on or anything like that! ;)

Somebody rang me using my info, claiming I’d done an ASDA survey which I definitely hadn’t. The bloke was really rude, kept interrupting and wouldn’t let me get a word in. When I finally got to say I never did any survey and wasn’t interested in his life insurance nonsense, he just hung up on me.

Honestly, this site has been a lifesaver for me since I just don’t pick up my phone anymore. Being disabled and stuck in bed a lot, sometimes I’m trying to catch some sleep during the day but these calls just keep disturbing me. I try blocking the numbers but they always ring from a slightly different one next time. It’s incredibly frustrating and I really think there should be a way to officially report these as nuisance calls. Big thanks to everyone sharing their experiences here.

Looks like your provider is selling your number. I picked up this number at 12.10 today and told the bloke it was a chinese adult line. He wasnt bothered and asked if i really was, i said yes but told him to stop annoyin me with his calls 20 times a day. Then i hung up and blocked the number. Proper headache these lot are.

They keep phoning me about insurance. I told them to call back next week because their quote was quite pricey. Today, a different bloke rang, then the same one called again at 7.30 in the evening. I told him again to call next week as I’m still thinking it over. He said, "I think I know your voice," which was a bit odd, so I’ve blocked the number now!

I'm getting really annoyed with these calls, and they don’t even bother to say who they are. Why can't the cops do something about this? It's honestly harassment. If I kept phoning someone like this, I'd be in serious trouble. If it carries on, I’m definitely going to report it to the police. This kind of thing should not be allowed at all.
