Received a call from a number associated with claimsregulation.gov.uk, claiming we were due £190, which would supposedly be returned once a compensation case was finalised. A quick search on their number raised our suspicions about its legitimacy. The following day, the same blokes rang us again, insisting we were entitled to a refund on payment protection insurance related to a loan from 2004. We had to clarify that we never actually took out any payment protection insurance!

Greetings! We received a call from the very same number, claiming that we were eligible for £18,000 after making an upfront payment of £249. The conversation was about Mortgage Protection Cover, alleging that it had been mis-sold to us. We happen to have a mate who's employed at a bank, and they suggested we investigate this. It all seems rather dodgy to us!!!!
