I received a rather dubious call earlier; a recorded voice claimed to be from 'my bank', warning that my credit card had been charged £600 in some foreign locale just a quarter of an hour ago. They urged me to press 1 if I wanted to address the situation. However, when I chose to remain silent, the call just cut off. Curiously, when I attempted to ring back, I was met with a response stating the number isn't valid. I’ve noticed the 01656 area code corresponds to Bridgend, and I have no doubt this is nothing but a scam.
