This was from my own area code, but turned out to be one of those recorded banking scams about suspicious activity on my account. I reckon they’ve either rented or cloned a local number so people are more tempted to pick up, and EE or BT won’t block it so easily as spam. Honestly, why don’t they just find a real job instead? Marked it as ‘Harassing’.
