Then she just put me on mute... I figured since it’s their call, I’d let it run silent for now. It’s been going on for nearly seven minutes already.

Got a call from a guy with an Asian accent claiming he was from Universal Appliances. Said he had a couple of questions but promised he wouldn't bother me again. I figured I'd play along for a bit. As for the comment on April 9th about the Telephone Preference Service being useless, it’s because these calls are mostly from overseas, using fake numbers to look local. Someone called me claiming to be from Universal Appliances, saying they wanted to do a survey. I told them that if they were really from Universal Appliances, they should know about the Telephone Preference Service and not be calling me. As soon as I mentioned that, they just ended the call.
