This morning at half past eight, I received a call from Universal Appliances. I promptly requested Anita to take my number off their list since I'm subscribed to the Telephone Preference Service. To my surprise, she outright refused and just silenced the call instead! Given that it was their bill, I decided to let the call linger in this manner; we’re currently at six minutes and 48 seconds. What a peculiar situation!

I reckon it’s likely a scam call, especially given what others have mentioned. The noise interrupted my sleep, and I quickly put the phone down without really hearing what was being said; it sounded rather robotic anyway.

Received a call from someone claiming to be with Universal Appliances, wanting to conduct a quick survey. I politely declined and promptly blocked the number.

Received a call from someone claiming to be with Universal Appliances, conducting a survey. When I pointed out that they shouldn't be calling me due to the Telephone Preference Scheme, they abruptly ended the call. Quite suspicious, if you ask me!
