01647252919 Summary (Read all comments)

Phone number ☎️ 01647252919 👆 is reported as a likely scam number, frequently calling at similar times but only reaching answer machines without leaving messages. Callers often use a poor English accent, possibly Indian, and pretend to be from British Telecom, claiming there is an issue with broadband. The script sounds rehearsed and the calls are probably made from a call centre, likely offshore. Several have noted the implausibility of their explanations, such as blaming noise on a shared line. Some receivers disconnect immediately or leave the phone by to waste the caller’s time. Overall, it's seen as a suspicious and annoying nuisance call aiming to deceive people.

I keep gettin calls that just ring my answerphone, but no one ever leaves a message. Happens pretty much around the same time every day too. Weird!

got a call from someone who sounded indian or something, saying there was a problem with our bt internet. the guy, calling himself michael, had the worst english ever, sounded like he was stuck reading from a script. you could tell it was a dodgy call centre. he kept going on about a noise on the line because it was shared, which was just nonsense. honestly, it seemed like some poor bloke stuck on a commission job in delhi or somewhere, just trying to blag his way through. pathetic really.

I picked up 01647252919, there was a bit of a pause so I reckon it was being passed to a call centre. I hung up right after the guy said hello, though occasionally I just put the phone down somewhere nearby to make them wait and hopefully keep them from pestering someone else for a bit.

Phone rang but went to voicemail, no message left though.

Got a call from what seemed to be British Telecom about a problem with my broadband. Thought it was legit at first, but a bit iffy now. They were talking about some error reports and stuff, but I didn't give out any details just in case. Could be a scam, so watch out folks!
