They called pretendin to be from BT tech support, sayin there's an issue with our broadband and that we gotta download some software to fix it. I'm pretty sure it's a scam, maybe with ransomware, trying to trick us. They said if we don’t do it, they’ll cut off our internet for a couple of weeks, blaming our router for the 'problem'. Total dodgy tactic.

They rang me up saying if I didn’t download their program, they’d cut off my broadband for a couple of weeks to "sort out a fault" they said was from my router. Seemed like a total scam to me - if there really was an issue with my router, surely they’d just send out a replacement instead of all this nonsense!
