Thing is, he made it sound like I had to pay a little admin fee first over the phone and then wanted my bank card info. Sounded all dodgy to me!7 yearsHeads up! About a year back, I had a really similar scam phone call but from a different number. Today, the same type of call came through, with a message about an accident I supposedly had. First, it was an automated message, then I got passed to a bloke with an Indian accent who started going on about thousands of pounds I could claim in compensation. I ended the call quickly as I knew straight away it was dodgy.
