I’m working nights and trying to catch some sleep in this awful heat, so when I get calls from this number out of nowhere, it’s really annoying. You’d think by now there’d be some kind of official rule where the company calling you has to explain why, or else they get hit with a hefty fine, like £10,000 or something. That kind of penalty would help clear some of the national debt or maybe even bring down the ridiculous fuel taxes us drivers have to pay at the pumps.

Got a call from this number the other day. I kept listening to catch what they were about. They said if I’ve got unsecured debts up to about £10,000, I could scrap 70% of it. They told me to press 5 if I wanted a pack sent out. I didn’t press anything and really hope they don’t already have my address. If you don’t want any more calls, pressing 9 apparently stops them - I did that and the call just ended. Fingers crossed they’ll leave me alone, but I wouldn’t bet on it. Worst comes to worst, maybe BT or whoever can block the number completely?
