When I mentioned I was busy preparing dinner, she insisted she'd ring me again in an hour. Yet, after that initial conversation, she was inundated with calls from various people from the same company for the remainder of the day. In the end, she felt compelled to stop picking up the phone altogether. She lives alone and absolutely detests these kinds of unsolicited calls, and let me tell you, I'm not a fan either.
