Tonight around 5.35, my wife picked up a call from this number. A lady was on the line, and right after my wife said "Hello," the woman told her, "That was the worst thing you could have done," then immediately hung up. It felt pretty creepy to us. Even though we're signed up with the TPS, we get loads of calls daily from different numbers, mostly showing up as International, Withheld, or Out Of Area on the caller ID. Today alone, we got two calls from this number - 01642 927977. The first was around 12.45 in the afternoon when we weren’t home, and the second was the one I mentioned earlier. Neither left any messages.

This number keeps ringing me about five times a day, and the moment I pick up, they just disconnect. It's really frustrating!!!

So this number called me up, asking for me but using my old surname that I stopped using like 4 years ago! I told them I don’t live there now and asked what it was about. They claimed that last year, under my old name, I supposedly borrowed £27,000 against the house and hadn’t paid it back. They asked if I was going to start paying now. I flat out told them I’m not paying for something in someone else’s name. They kept saying someone’s gotta pay it, and I just kept saying no. Then when I asked for more details, the person just laughed and said “oh forget it, it’s just a joke” and hung up! Felt really weird.
