I picked up a call from a local number. They told me there were some strange transactions on my account that needed confirming. The options were 1 to approve or 2 to report. Because I couldn’t make out who it was, I pressed 2. Then a man, calling himself Steve and speaking with an odd accent, tried to run through some security questions. I asked him a couple of times which company he was with but all he said was something about security checks. I got suspicious and ended the call. Tried checking the number, but nothing showed up anywhere. Feels like a dodgy scam to me.
