Got a call from an Indian call centre using our local area code earlier. I looked it up and it’s linked to St Joseph’s Primary School nearby, which is why I picked up. Turns out it was one of those usual broadband scams where they say your internet’s slow and try to get you to download a fake “update” or “virus fix.” Managed to keep them chatting for a good 15 minutes just to chew up their time!
