They claimed I was shelling out far too much on insurance for my minor gadgets and assured me they could offer a much sweeter deal. Frankly, I find that hard to swallow!

I got a call from a woman about TV insurance, but she just kept talking over me and wouldn’t let me get a word in edgeways. Quite annoying, really.

Got two calls from this number today but they didn’t bother to leave a message. Proper nuisance, in my opinion. 29th March 2018.

So this bloke called me, insisting I was coughing up £7.99 a month to DG Appliances for some kind of insurance. I told him he was wrong, and then he goes all defensive, saying I probably didn’t even realise I was paying it and that it was his job to make sure my stuff was insured. He was shouting so loud I had to talk over him and just ended the call. Before that, they rang me but just hung up straight away. Proper annoying.

A guy with an Asian accent called me and used my name straight away. When I told him I’m registered with the Telephone Preference Service, he claimed that it only blocks survey-related calls. I explained that it’s meant to stop unknown callers bothering me, then just ended the call.

Got a call from a woman with a thick Indian accent who said her name was Annie. She told me I was shelling out £7 every month for some TV insurance or maintenance plan, and claimed her firm could sort it cheaper for £5 monthly. When I questioned where she got those details, seeing as I don’t pay a penny for TV maintenance, she just ended the call on me.

hey there folks, i dont mind takin calls like these at all, being by myself its quite nice to have a chat with someone. i always try to be polite and patient, and i make sure not to keep the caller on too long. but no matter how considerate i am, the callers often end up yelling or hanging up abruptly. yet somehow, they still call back a couple of times every day. i guess it’s better than nothing, that bit of company. so if you’re looking to brighten someone’s day, why not ring up a lonely disabled pensioner? it really means a lot. cheers, richie.

Got a call this morning just after 10, claiming to be from the firm that looks after all home appliances across the UK! They wanted to cut my insurance by a couple of quid each month, but said I had to sign up first. Feels dodgy to me, maybe just trying to gather info or possibly fishing for my bank details. Wouldn't trust it.

I just got a call from a lady with a really thick Indian accent, telling me I’m paying £7 every month for TV maintenance, but she could offer it for just £5. It was obvious she was trying to get me to sign up for some dodgy deal. I told her I don’t pay for any TV maintenance at all, then she just ended the call straightaway.

Got a call from a lady with an Indian accent, who said her name was Stella. She claimed she was ringing about my TV insurance, which apparently I’m paying £7 a month for - something I’d never heard of before. I thought I must have misheard, so asked her to say it again, and she did. I told her I don’t have any TV insurance, and then she just cut the call.
