Reports on phone number 01642472555
8 yearsI just had a rather unsettling phone call from a chap named Jason, who had quite a thick Indian accent, claiming to be from the Technical Department at Microsoft. He informed me that they had uncovered attempts to breach my computer in the past few days for dubious activities. Naturally, I probed him for proof of his identity, and he proceeded to rattle off what he asserted was my Microsoft operating licence number. I inquired how I might verify this information, and he requested that I enter a specific command on my computer. I flatly declined, as I had the good sense to look up the actual licence number whilst we were conversing, and it bore no resemblance to what he was saying. When I told him this, he abruptly hung up the line. Now I’m left wondering just how long Microsoft has had a branch in Middlesbrough (01642). I even tried ringing the number back, but it rang out with no answer.JasonTechnical DepartmentMicrosoftMiddlesbroughSubmit Your Own Report (01642 472555)
