Got a call from some bloke claiming to be Virgin Media tech support about my internet. Since I’ve got a PhD in computer science, I actually enjoy messing about with these types. I drag it out by pretending not to understand, mishearing their instructions on purpose. This one took nearly 40 minutes before he got round to asking me to install some remote access software! Just a heads-up - never download anything from these calls. But honestly, have a laugh with them; the longer you keep ’em chatting, the less they’re out there tricking vulnerable folks.
