I got a call where they wanted me to verify my name and address. When I asked what the call was about, they said it was from the washing machine department and asked if I still owned a Hotpoint washing machine, then asked me to confirm my details. I ended the call straight away when I said I wasn’t comfortable sharing that info over the phone.
