Twice today, these callers managed to get through to me. The first one disconnected as soon as I mentioned I wasn’t interested and requested they remove me from their list. The second caller, however, didn’t get the hint. After telling him I had no desire to participate, he stubbornly pressed me to respond to his survey questions not once, but three times! I kept reiterating my annoyance at their incessant calls, yet he remained adamant about his inquiry. I finally exclaimed, "Just stop calling me!" quite irate at that stage. He had the audacity to claim it would only require a couple of minutes of my time. I shot back, "Enough! Who do you think you are?" The audacious little blighter echoed my question back to me, which only added to my frustration. I warned him I intended to report him, but he simply hung up. Now I sit here, bracing myself for the next interruption. If this isn’t what you would call harassment, then I’m at a loss!

Since it's a recorded message, I can't even tell anyone to "jog on." Just last Sunday, at 8:15 in the evening! If only I had a clue on how to put an end to this nuisance.

I've noticed this particular phone number reaching out to our elderly folk, only to leave them hanging in silence when they pick up. It's truly disheartening for our pensioners, who often cling to the hope of hearing from their loved ones. It’s high time we had regulations in place to prevent call centres from bombarding those aged 70 and above with their nonsense. It's simply not fair to subject them to this kind of distress!
