This number pops up as local to where I live. A bloke with quite a thick South Asian accent rang me, saying he was calling from Virgin Media and that there was an issue with my internet connection, which wasn’t the case at all. He then started giving me all these steps to follow, asking me to download something called Anynet+ on my phone. That’s when I cut him off and ended the call, guessing it was a dodgy scam trying to get control over my network.
