I get calls from this number pretty much every day, sometimes even a couple of times. The person on the other end sounds like they’re from abroad and always wants to talk to me by my name. But when I try to find out who they are, they just hang up straight away. Loads of people have the same problem with this number, so why hasn’t anything been done about it yet? Surely they can track where it’s coming from. I’m signed up with the TPS and keep reporting it to the ICO but it still goes on.

Sometimes they even claim your info’s already been compromised to make you panic and give them access. If you wanna stop them, just ask for some kind of proof - they usually hang up pretty fast after that. Don’t ever share any details like your home address, passwords, or email, they’re just fishing for any piece of info they can use. Seriously, be careful out there!
