Got a call from someone pretending to be from EDF Energy. Seemed like a scam - the caller had loads of personal details, probably to make it sound legit, and asked for my meter reading plus the meter number. I found their number using 1471 and rang EDF directly to check. Turns out, the number isn’t connected to EDF at all. Pretty dodgy if you ask me.
