This morning, I received a rather suspicious call from a gentleman with an accent that sounded Indian. He claimed to represent BT, but my landline isn't even with them! When I pressed him further, I believe he mentioned my surname, though I can't be entirely certain. He insisted I was the registered user, which struck me as odd since our phone account is solely in my husband's name, and the provider won't even give me any information. I decided to end the conversation there. Something felt quite off about it all.
