I received a phone call from a woman claiming to be representing Currys PC World. She inquired about the type of phone I use, the amount I pay for it, and which network I’m on. Definitely sounded like a scam to me.

I received a call from someone claiming they'd been in an accident and were checking to see if I’d put in a claim. The thing is, I haven't had any accidents myself. Quite puzzling!

Scam alert! Received a call pretending to be from O2, requesting a promotional code. They claim that this code is needed to access your account, supposedly sent by O2 UK. Whatever you do, do not share that code with them! Stay safe!

When I answered the call, there was an odd silence, followed by a dial tone, and then I heard a voice with a South East Asian accent claiming to be from Carphone Warehouse. I inquired about their location, but they responded with "promotional department," which did not satisfy my curiosity. I pressed for details about the specific branch, and to my surprise, they abruptly ended the call. It's evident this is a blatant scam—best to avoid picking up entirely!

Received a call from a woman who had quite a noticeable accent, claiming to be representing Curry's PC World, trying to persuade me to purchase a mobile phone. When I politely declined, she seemed a tad put out and pressed me, suggesting she could offer a fantastic deal. It's really frustrating that my own mobile service provider seems to be peddling my phone number to these dubious callers!

I received a dodgy call that was supposedly from Vodafone. They were fishing for information, attempting to get me to provide a code linked to my account. Whatever you do, do not share that code!
