Just had a rather peculiar call from IMG Holidays. They were touting a complimentary getaway, claiming I’d only be responsible for the cost of breakfast. However, before they could dive into the whole payment spiel, I abruptly ended the conversation. Honestly, it makes you wonder how these people manage to rest easy at night, doesn’t it?

I was presented with an enticing offer for complimentary lodging post-lockdown; however, it came with a stipulation of a £15 spend each at the restaurant. When I expressed my disinterest, they promptly ended the call, which struck me as rather rude. Had the deal been genuine, I would’ve expected a bit more courtesy. Just goes to show, don’t let the posh accent mislead you!
