I received a call that I couldn't answer, so I decided to return the call. It turned out to be a robotic voice asking me if I was in debt over a certain amount—something along those lines. I quickly cut the line!

Then, out of the blue, they inquired if I was related to anyone in the household. I replied that I wasn’t. They simply said, "Alright, cheers then," and hung up. Quite the peculiar encounter!

For more than a couple of years, I've been receiving persistent calls from this elusive company (they refuse to identify themselves). They ring me up regularly, sometimes even twice a day, inquiring about a bloke who's never set foot here. I moved into this brand new house over a decade ago, and it’s clear that this so-called Mark Jones has never been a resident. More often than not, they disconnect the line when we firmly tell them there's no one by that name here. However, lately, they keep promising to remove my number from their database, yet I'm still waiting. It’s utterly infuriating!
