They straight up said it was a lottery scam, couldn’t even try to hide it!

Managed to get through to 01634 949242 at last. They claim to be a charity linked with the NHS maritime hospital and say they have connections with the lottery as well. They want you to pay a quid every week to enter some kind of rollover prize draw. Honestly, it sounds dodgy to me, like a total scam!

the phone showed that the call might be a scam, so i ignored it. ive gone ahead and blocked the number now.

I got a call from this number on my mobile but it stopped ringing before I could pick up. When I tried ringing back from my landline, it just said the number can’t be reached. Seems a bit dodgy, could be some kind of scam? Had a similar experience before.
