When I challenged the caller, claiming to be BT Call Minder, they didn’t try to keep the conversation going. It was quite clear they weren’t interested in pushing further.

It said someone had used my Amazon account to buy an iPad and told me to press 1 for more info or something like that, but I can't recall exactly what it said. I just ended the call and checked my account, and luckily, no purchase was showing up. Felt like a dodgy scam to me.
