Got a call out of the blue with a recorded message from a woman speaking with a British accent. She claimed to be from some ‘bank security team’, though never mentioned which bank. The message said there were two suspicious charges on my card today: one supposedly to ‘Amazon’ for £300, and another to an ‘international money transfer site’ for £1100. It told me to press 1 to approve the payments or 2 to cancel and talk to support. Don’t fall for it. This isn’t any real bank alert, just another fake scam trying to rush you. Just hang up, ignore it, and block the number.
