This number has been ringing me incessantly throughout the day, and when I finally answered, I was greeted by a gentleman claiming to be conducting a lifestyle survey. He had a distinct Asian accent and proceeded to ask me to verify my name and the first line of my address, specifically stating, “1 Royal Ride” and the postcode PO18OX. I nodded in affirmation, and then he delved into his queries about whether my residence was rented or owned, to which I promptly informed him he had exceeded his three questions. With a chuckle, he didn’t relent, and began firing off inquiries at a rapid pace - asking me about life insurance policies, my electricity provider, the make and age of my washing machine, if I’d be inclined to donate to a couple of obscure charities I had no knowledge of, and whether I might be interested in a new phone contract, among other random propositions. Each time I expressed disinterest, he’d drone on with a scripted reply, “Don’t worry. We won’t take anything from you now. You think about it and I’ll let them call you, alright.” It seems he’s gone ahead and shared my information, as I’ve since received calls from a Will and estate service in Gillingham-despite my attempts to verify their authenticity-and someone identifying themselves as a ‘representative’ from Great Ormond Street Hospital has been in touch daily for the past four days, despite not being mentioned in our conversation. Just yesterday, a caller claiming to work for 3 reached out, targeting non-3 customers to entice them with electrifying offers on SIM-only deals, phones, and broadband. Do exercise caution; they can be quite aggressive and appear to possess your genuine details.

She introduced herself as Carol. From her accent, it was evident she was of Indian descent. She attempted to say my name, but it came out all wrong. When I requested to be connected to her supervisor, she shockingly replied, "My supervisor is deceased. Would you like to have a chat with a ghost?" before abruptly ending the call.

I received a call from a lady overseas who shared her name and location with me, but unfortunately, I couldn't quite grasp what she was saying. She then asked me to verify my name and address. So, I decided to end the conversation. Since then, she has attempted to reach me three times over the span of a few days.

I had a rather unpleasant encounter with an Indian woman who was incredibly abrupt. She aimed to ask me three questions, but as I probed a bit about how she’d obtained my number and the name of her company, she snapped at me in irritation before abruptly hanging up. This screams scam to me. Best to steer clear of such calls!
