This number rang me several times throughout one day before I finally answered. The guy sounded Asian and said he was doing a lifestyle survey, wanting to ask me three questions. First, he checked if my name was a certain one, then asked if I lived at 1 Royal Ride with postcode PO18OX. I said yes, thinking it was just a quick survey. After confirming, he started asking if I owned or rented my home, which I assumed was the end of the questions. But then he suddenly sped up and bombarded me with all sorts of stuff - life insurance, who supplies my electricity, washing machine brand and age, even if I wanted to donate to charities I’d never heard of, and then tried pushing phone contracts and other offers. When I said no, he kept repeating the same line word for word, telling me not to worry and that someone would call me later if I changed my mind, like he was reading from a script. Since then, I’ve been getting calls from all over - a Will and estate service from Gillingham (I tried calling them to double-check), someone claiming to be from Great Ormond Street hospital ringing for days in a row, who wasn’t on the list of charities mentioned earlier, and just yesterday a call from supposed 3 staff offering deals on sim cards and broadband to non-customers. Some of these callers have been quite rude, so be careful - they probably have your real details.

Yesterday I got two calls from this number, only picked up the second time. The person on the line was a lady from India, but her accent was quite tricky to follow. Might have been a scam or some kind of telemarketer.

A woman called, said her name was Carol, sounded very Indian. She knew my name but butchered the pronunciation. When I requested to talk to her manager, she told me "my manager's dead. You want to talk to a ghost?" and then just ended the call! Proper weird behaviour.

There was this woman from overseas who told me her name and where she was calling from, but honestly, I couldn’t quite catch what she was saying. She asked me to verify my name and address, which made me a bit uneasy, so I just ended the call. She ended up ringing me back three times over the next few days.

Got a call from an Indian woman who was pretty rude, just wanted to ask a few questions. I asked her a couple of times where she got my number and what company she was calling from, but she just snapped at me and hung up. Definitely felt like a scam, so stay clear!

That number doesn't ring any bells for me. If it was really something urgent, you’d imagine they’d have called back or tried to get hold of me again after a few hours. No sign from them so far though.

I got a call where they asked for my current address but first tried to confirm my name and some old address. When I started asking them who they were, they just ended the call straight away.

The woman rattled off my wife’s name, mine, and even our address, then said she had some questions for me. I told her straight up I don’t give out any details on the phone. Pretty obvious these are scammers - can spot 'em from far away.
