This number has been ringing me every single day for the last month and a bit, at various times throughout the day. I haven't managed to pick up the phone in time to respond yet.

We've been inundated with countless calls from this number. Even after we requested them to cease contacting us, the calls keep coming. It feels like a never-ending cycle. It's baffling, really, considering we clearly indicated our lack of interest in their services. One has to question why they persist despite our wishes.

this has happened a few times recently where the call just cuts off and no one leaves a message. my number’s on the FPS list too, so i really shouldn’t be getting calls like this. the line suddenly went dead again today.

We've noticed this number pop up on our 1471 since we moved into our new home. When we tried to call it back, it went silent-very odd! We have a hunch it may be from Kent. Does anyone have any thoughts or similar experiences?

I've been getting calls from this number and they claim to be from The Daily Telegraph doing some kind of “research”. Every time they ring, they ask me about which newspapers I read. Thing is, my number is on the TPS list, so they really shouldn’t be ringing me at all. When I asked how they got my contact details, they just said it was through a competition - which sounds a bit dodgy to me and doesn’t add up.

What a fascinating subscription deal! We recently started entering competitions on the Telegraph's website, and when we saw a missed call from them, we were absolutely thrilled! It's such an exciting prospect!

I’ve just had a look at the Daily Telegraph, and it appears that these folks are currently running a promotion with TalkTalk. So, that’s certainly some positive news!

Received a call just now, and when we answered, a woman's voice said, "Sorry, wrong number," before abruptly ending the call! It makes me curious how she was aware it was the wrong number considering we hadn’t provided any information when picking up.

We received a call from this number as well, but they hung up as soon as we answered. Quite peculiar, really!

Had a similar experience just earlier today. The line goes completely silent the moment we pick up.

The other day, I received a couple of silent calls from the number 01634888000 at around 10:20. Quite peculiar, wouldn’t you say? I can't help but wonder if it’s the same individual behind both attempts.

I've had a couple of missed calls from this number, alongside 01634 401221, both on back-to-back days. Strangely, they didn't leave any messages on my answering machine. Quite odd!

We received a call from this number earlier today, and it's strikingly similar to another Medway number that rang us just a couple of days ago.

Last year, we signed up for some rings through the Telegraph. It seems these individuals decided to ring us nearly every day for a short while. We chose to let our answering machine handle any calls from unknown numbers, and it appears that these callers always hung up without leaving a message. We've decided to save their number in our phone with the label "UNWANTED" to ensure that we're prepared for any future nuisance calls from them.

Earlier today, we received a call on our mobile from the number 01634 406900. Unfortunately, the caller hung up not long after ringing, so we didn’t manage to answer. Interestingly, just half an hour prior, we were contacted by a different number; it turned out to be someone from the Daily Telegraph trying to sell subscriptions. Quite the coincidence!

Received a call but nobody on the other end.

I've been avoiding these calls, but as soon as I done a bit of sleuthing on the internet to discover the owner of the number, the name UPS from Kent popped up. Apparently, it has something to do with tracking parcels. However, I don’t have any parcels that need tracking at the moment. This is actually the second time we've encountered this number, and like plenty of others, we’ve got no interest in it.

I received a call on my home number from these individuals who seemed to know my name, but then they promptly disconnected without uttering another word. It feels rather suspicious, doesn't it? I'm left scratching my head, wondering how on earth they managed to get hold of both my name and my number in the first place. A bit of a cheeky prank, if you ask me!

i get loads of calls from them every day but they don’t bother to leave any voicemail (i screen all my calls). they did this a while ago too, then went quiet for some time. but now they’ve started ringing non-stop again this week.

I didn't bother leaving a message on the answering machine. When I dialled using 141, I was greeted by a voice stating, "You've received a call from the Telegraph Media Group regarding a subscription deal." Seems like one of those automated ringing contraptions if you ask me.

The other day, my partner received a call from someone claiming to be Susan or Sarah, who said she was with the Everyday Telegraph. They were supposedly offering a complimentary financial consultation, and she mentioned that my partner had already received a letter about it. However, that’s simply not true-he hasn’t seen anything! After he expressed his disinterest and ended the conversation, I got a call myself at around the same time (6:20 PM) but there was no one on the line, and the number was blocked. It’s frustrating, especially since I’m on the Telephone Preference Service list. Quite the nuisance, if you ask me!

Today, we received a rather intriguing call from someone claiming to represent the Telegraph. They seemed to be reaching out about a collaboration involving TalkTalk, which piqued our curiosity. The caller proceeded to elaborate on an enticing promotion linked to TalkTalk, covering line rental, broadband services, and international calls to the UK at a set price. Apparently, there’s a limited-time offer for the initial three weeks, after which one would be tied into an 18-week agreement. Interestingly, she mentioned she’d be ringing back tomorrow to chat with my husband. Should I be wary of whether this might be a scam?
