Got a call from a number I didn’t recognise, seemed like they were trying to disguise their voice.

Got a call earlier today from this number which I picked up as it looked like one I’d ignored the previous day. Turned out to be some dodgy call centre overseas saying my Visa debit card had been wrongly charged £149. When I told them I didn’t live at the address they had on file (haven’t for more than a decade), they just kept going with their scripted spiel. They seemed a bit green though, because when I started asking which card and other details, they didn’t really catch on and quickly hung up. Seemed like a classic scam trying to get my banking info.
